Sealed bids for the Cracksealing-2023 Project will be received by the City of Des Peres, City Clerk's Office, until 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, February 2, 2023;   The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Council Chambers, City Hall, 12325 Manchester Rd, Des Peres MO 63131.  Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope.

 The Scope of Work includes preparing and sealing of cracks and joints in city streets, providing traffic control and other incidental items as indicated on the construction drawings and specifications.  It is anticipated this work will take place in April 2023, weather permitting.

These same streets were cracksealed in 2021, or have since been resurfaced/reconstructed, so the amount of material needed should be lower than a first-time application.

 All bidders are expected to visit the project locations and become familiar with conditions.  A detailed Street List and maps are included. Bids and payment are to be based upon Centerline Feet, and actual quantities will not be measured in the field.

A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
