History
Sugar Creek Park was acquired after the annexation of the southwest portion of the City of Des Peres. The 20-acre park became part of the City’s park system in 1975. A very active park located at Des Peres and Dougherty Ferry Roads, the park's small trail, playground, and ball fields are a community favorite.

 

New Playground Information  The New playground is now open at Sugar Creek Park in the City of Des Peres.  This new nature-themed playground  makes Sugar Creek a unique destination park for kids in the area and is ADA accessible.  The drawing to the right shows the new nature-themed playground layout.  In addition to the equipment in this picture, the park has a set of 4 swings as well as a slide near the pavilion.  Click here for a full copy of the construction documents from SWT Design.  Thank you to the St. Louis County Municipal Park Grant Commission for providing funding for the new equipment and surfacing. Thank you for your patience during these improvements to your park.
